Biography
Samuel was born on 16 May 1872 in Perry County, PA. He was the son of John Leppard and Catharine Finkenbinder.
On 29 Apr 1893 he married Minerva A. Pierce in New Bloomfield, PA and together they had 8 children: Earle S., Bertha K., Mahlon P., Mary A., Martha E., Benjamin P., Jonathon J., and Rhoda M.
he worked for the Hershey Corporation first in the Creamery then for the estates as a farmhand at various levels.
He passed away on 12 Dec 1945 in Hummelstown, PA and was buried at the Hummelstown Cemetery.
