My Father, with my help, established the Lessard family tree in Louisiana, going back to our French ancestor Jean-Baptiste Lessard born 1753 in Rennes en Bretagne. We have never been able to find a Catholic or civil record of his marriage to Marie-Madeleine Lorot in Louisiana between 1785 and 1791. Any information would be most welcome.
