US Census (Russell Co., KY.) 1850, James Lester HOH, wife Amana M., William (son), Luvena E. (dau.) John C. (son), James Milton (son), Sitha Pink (dau.) and Samuel T. (son). Shown as owning additional acres (150) on Cabin Fork Creek on the Adair/Russell county line. Log house still standing on this location inside of a barn. Fair condition based on photographs taken in 2015. Copy of will on file. Written and witnessed on July 6, 1853 and probated September 1853. Recorded in Russell County Will Book #1, page 47. Witnessed by Enos Carter (son-in-law).
