R. Anton Lester, Jr , son of R. Anton Lester, Sr, and wife Jeanne (Ortiz) (Hadler) Lester, was born 01 FEB 1920, in Buffalo, Erie, New York.

Anton, III was an only child but had 2 half sisters as follows:

• Virginia Estelle
• Hazel Eunice

In the year of 1944, in Buffalo, New York, Anton married his sweetheart Jeanne Lauretta Watkin. They had a good marriage, and out of this marriage, they had two children as follows:

• Phoebe Lester-(1945-2008)
• R. Anton Lester III-(1946-)
