John Lester was baptised on 27 Mar 1748 at Stratton St Margaret, Wiltshire, son of Curtis and Sarah.[1]
John Lester of Rodbourne Cheney, Labourer, married Mary Brown of Rodbourne Cheney, single woman, on 30 Oct 1774 at Rodbourne Cheney, Wiltshire.[2]

John Lester was a beneficiary of the will of his uncle Joshua Hyde, the will was made on 28 August 1798 and proved at Swindon on 20 July 1803.[4]
John Lester was buried on 18 Jan 1818 at Stratton St Margaret, Wiltshire, age 69.[5]
