William Letson, a bachelor, a resident of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a by profession a merchant, signed a Marriage Bond on the 13th (15th?) of June in 1819, in Halifax, for his marriage to Maryann Farnham, a spinster. John Albro, Esq., of Halifax, signed as his surety.[1]
William was resident in Halifax and described as a saddler by profession in July of 1823, when he signed as surety for Theophilus Watts's Marriage Bond.[2]
He received Land Grant 7387 which was 56 acres in Glenelg, Northumberland County, New Brunswick.
In 1851, William was enumerated in Chatham, New Brunswick with his wife and family. [3]
