In the depression Pittman was down to his last nickle. He tossed it in the air as he was about to buy a coffee or ride home but lost it down a street drain. This made him so mad that he marched in and got a job as an insurance salesman and from there everything was better. He died at 32 of pneumonia - was a warm, loving, gentle, great sense of humour and a great fisherman. He could recite poetry and loved it. Loved dancing. Born in Ottawa but moved to Toronto. Was at his death Vice President of Kelton Rubber Company. Copied by Anna Strutt.
