John Leverich was born about 1673. He was a farmer in Newtown, Long Island, New York. He married Hannah Mayle in 1695. They had five children.
John died at the age of 40 in 1705. His wife Hannah lived from 1674-1751 dying at the age of 77.

LEVERICH, John [4] - Farmer, Newtown, Long Island, New York; Newtown Town Records: earliest reference to John: 15 November 1689, witness to deed executed by his parents (John is probably about age 16); 24 April 1694: John receives grant of one half of father’s purchase right from his father Caleb (John probably about age 21); 6 February 1695: deed John Leverich to his “well respected uncle” Benjamin Cornish; 4 May 1705: Caleb Leverich granted land to widow Hannah Leverich and her children (named), the heirs of Caleb’s deceased son John
