Jewish On-line World Buriel Record (JOWBR) has a birth year of 1884 for Bernard David LEVIN. His WWII draft registration, written by him, is for 14 May 1886, and age 55. His WWI draft card, presumably written by him, is for 14 May 1881, age 37. The month and day of month are consistent, but the year keeps changing. Presently have no basis for choosing one year over another year.
He is listed as having been born in Russia on the WWII draft card, but other sources state Poland. Until more exact location is found, it's likely the territory changed hands between immigration and WWII.
Date: 7 DEC 1943, Cause: embolism following prostate operation Note: My father died on Dec 7, 1943 - 2 - 1/2 wks after a prostate operation - then they didn't get patients out of bed immediately after surgery (as they discovered during WW 2). so the operation was successful but the patient died of ann embolism of the lung. his death took place only 4 days after the birth of my son on Dec 3. They had to wait 4 days before Lenny could get back to Hartford as he was in the Air Corps and so immediately after the funeral the Rabbi and Lenny and 2 relations came to the hospital for the "bris" and naming of my son - Barry David Warner.
The major document is a set of nine hand written pages of notes from Hilda WARNER (married name Hilda) sent to Rozanne GOLD circa 1992. See free space for images here: Hilda Warner Notes
