Note N130Martha Lewellen Murry was known as Patsy. She lived to age 95 in the same house she moved into when she was married. At age 94 she had a "fit" and fell in the fire. Although the newspaper account didn't think she would survive, she lived another year and a half. She is buried in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH. Martha Lewellen Murry lived to be 95 years old. In 1882, the Eaton Weekly Register reported that "Grandmother Murray, one of the oldest and most respected ladies in this county, fell into a fireplace while in a fit, and burned herself horribly. Owing to her age and the seriousness of the burns, it is doubtful if she lives." She lived another year, and "died at the old house where she first settled with her husband after their marriage 74 years ago." Her will directed that her property be sold and divided equally between her children, five of whom were still living. The granddaughter caring for her would receive her bed, if she continued to care for her until her death.
