For help in determining the mother of Elizabeth Lewis, matching with ancestral trees at Ancestry.com for https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hankins-163 reveals 15 Barbers and only two Hookers.
For a single descendant this is a fairly unscientific result, however if a few descendants obtain similar results we can probably go with Barber.
Elizabeth was born in 1720. She passed away in 1770.
