Elizabeth Lewis was born well before her marriage. She was the daughter of James Lewis and Sarah Babcock. Research note A birth date of 1682 was given as an alternative before a merge - I think this cannot be possible if her son was born in 1740, it would have made her 58 which is unlikely.
