Biography

John, son of John and Hannah (Lincoln) Lewis was born in Hingham 13 Oct 1683.[1]

He married Deborah Hawke on 2 May 1716.[2]

He died suddenly of apoplexy at the house of Jabez Wilder in Hingham 18 Mar 1754.[3]

"Blacksmith."[4]

Constable 1719.[4]

Selectman 1730, 1731, and 1732.[4]

Resided on the paternal homestead, Main Street, Hingham, near Tower's Bridge.[4]
