Biography

Henry was born April 15 1886 in Georgia to Caleb Hoyl Lewis and Mary "Mollie" Sampson. By 1900, the Lewis family had moved to Collin County Texas. Henry met and married Etta Rose Gausnell and they married in 1905. They had 2 daughters together (Pansy Oneta and Dovie Pauline). Henry worked as a book keeper for an Ice House. Sometime after 1920 Henry left his family and it is unknown where he went, and where and when died. The last mention I can find of him was an obituary for his mother in 1951. "(Clarksville Times) from Detroit Texas that reports the death of Mrs. Mary E. Robinson at the home of her son Paul Lewis. Survived by four sons: Paul, Henry, John and Sid Lewis, and 2 daughters: Sallie Hitchcock and Maudie Kay".
