Daniel Lewis was born in Appalachia, in New York. See Appalachia Project.
Daniel was born in 1846. He was the son of Alfred Lewis and Lucy Langworthy.
He served during the Civil War in the Navy.
He married 10 Oct 1872 Achsah D. Vaughn 1847-1924.
He passed away in 1919.
