Biography
Daniel James Lewis was born on June 21, 1909 in Troedrhiwfuwch, Glamorgan, Wales. He was the son of Richard Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis née James.[1] He was Christened on 11 August 1909 at Pontlotyn, Glamorganshire, Wales. [2]
He was the first of two children, his brother was Thomas George Lewis. He was commonly known by his middle name James, or Jim.
In 1911, Daniel, aged 2, was living at 17 High Street, Troedrhiwfuwch, Glamorgan, Wales. Full household details:

Daniel died on October 7, 1980 in Angela Court Care Home, Tipton Street, Sidmouth, Devon, aged 71.[5] His will/administration was proved on 28 April 1981 in Bristol, England. [6]
