Croom Lewis is a part of US Black heritage.
Croom was born about 1849. He was a slave of Arthur M. Lewis and lived in Marengo Co, AL.
When Arthur M. Lewis died in 1860 Croom was listed on the inventory of enslaved people at the plantation called The Home Place in Feb 1861.[1]
