Betsy Lewis is a part of US Black heritage.

Betsy was born about 1828. She was a slave of Arthur M. Lewis and lived in Choctaw Co, AL, on the plantation called The Kinterbesh Place.

Arthur M. Lewis died in 1860. Betsy was listed in the probate inventory of the enslaved people at The Kinterbesh Place in Apr 1861. It gave their names and ages.[1]
