Biography

Anna Lewis, daughter of John Lewis (abt.1600-) of Genoa, Italy, married Colonel John Vassall (abt.1625-bef.1688) of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. She served as the executrix of her husband's estate. Her will was written February 21, 1719-20. She was buried at St. Elizabeth, Jamaica 1719-20. Her will was proven April 2, 1720. [1]

She was a daughter of John Lewis, an English resident of Genoa, a Maritime Republic in Italy at that time.
