Biography

George Lewis was born on 26 Mar 1801 in St. Louis, Louisiana Territory (now Missouri), United States, son of John Baptist Lewis.

He married Catherine Bradford Dozier.[1]

George died at an age of seventy-three on July 31, 1874 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He is buried in the Old Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.[2]
