Biography
John Lewis was the son of Jessie Anne Johns and John William Lewis.
He worked as a Labourer and later as a Carpenter.
He married a widow, Harriet Petterson, but the relationship didn't last and in 1928 his brother Frederick became Harriet's 3rd husband.
John William Lewis died in 1962 age 61 and is buried at Kelvin Grove cemetery.
