Because of a great deal of similar names, as well as multiple intermarriages in the Libby family tree, Charles Libby, author of '[1] devised a numbering system from the Immigrant. The immigrant on WikiTree is John Libby. Each child is numbered in order, so Daniel Libby is Child 12 (discounting several sisters who were not included in the book) (or Libby 12). Each of his children is numbered in order (12-1, 12-2, 12-3) etc.
