Émilie was born 22 Jun 1856 in New Zealand at Akaroa, Canterbury, to Joseph Libeau and Mary Anne Hedgeman.[1][2]
She married Jean Pierre Hilaire Suire in France on 5 Nov 1877.[2]
As of 1891 they lived at 38 Rue de la Grève, village of La Grève, Saint-Martin-de-Villeneuve. They had moved to Bègues by 1901.
She passed away 6 February 1938 age 81 and is buried at Cram-Chaban Cemetery. [3]
She was named in her sister's 1926 obituary[4] as "A sister, Mrs. Le Suire, living in France".
Ancestry Profile shows death 7 Feb 1938 at the same place as the marriage, and four children Alice Marie Louise Clementine (1878-1952), Rene Henri Theophile (1885-1964), Jean-Theophile Leon (1886-1941), and Marie-Josephine Gabrielle (1896-1944).
The other part, Miss Emelie Libeau, without profession, aged 21 years, was born 22 June 1856 registered at births in the district of Akaroa, colony of Canterbury (New Zealand), living at the shore of this commune. Daughter (of majority and legitimate) of Joseph Libeau age 66, profession of gardener, living at Akaroa (New Zealand) and of Mary Anne Edhman[sic] aged 44, profession any, living at Akaroa (New Zealand), (note about parents giving consent).
