When Ruth Ann Barnum Liger was born in 1824 in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada, her father, John Liger, was 29, and her mother, Elizabeth ____, was 19. She married John Bulmer on July 17, 1848, in her hometown. They had three children during their marriage. She died on November 20, 1876, in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 52, and was buried in Woodhouse United Church Cemetery in Halfway House Corner, Ontario, Canada.
