Biography
Eliza K. Ligon was born February 24, 1824 to David Gaddy Ligon and Mary Parker Nelson in Georgia.
She married John Foster Griggs on June 1, 1845 in Chambers County, Alabama. [1]Their children were:

She died, at the age of 80, on December 31, 1904 in Tallassee, Alabama. She is buried, beside her husband, at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tallassee, Alabama. [4]
