Biography
This Dora Lilly isn't the same person who was married to Daniel E Lilly.
The Dora married to Daniel was born Madora Alice Lilly. She was born in April 1869 and they were married in 1896. But, her father was W. P. Lilly under whose roof they both lived at the time of the 1900 US Census, WV, Pipestem, Summers County. She is listed as daughter and he as son-in-law.
I know this because they were my husbands great grandparents. They had four children: Luther J. Lilly 1901 William S. Lilly 1903-1988 Hazel Pearl Lilly 1908-1992 These are all listed on the 1910 census and another son Charley Lilly 1913-1922
These facts can all be checked easily. Dora is listed on the 1920 census, but seems to disappear after that. I haven't been able to find any death certificate. But, I know her husband Daniel remarried in May of 1922 and had three mor children in the second marriage.
