Henry Limbaugh married Mary Hise on 5 Dec 1793 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.[3]
Henry bought a 95 acre farm on Adams Creek in Cabarrus County.[1] The family attended St John's Lutheran Church there.[1] In 1800, the family resided in Cabarrus County.[4] About 1806, Henry moved his family to Burke County, North Carolina[1] where they resided in 1810[5]. In 1811, he again moved the family, this time to the Louisiana Territory where he settled on the Little Muddy Creek in the Whitewater district.[1]
Mary passed away not long after their arrival in the Louisiana Territory.[1] Henry eventually remarried to Catherine Mull, whose husband Michael Shell had also passed away.[1][2]
Henry Limbaugh died in Cape Girardeau County between 5 Jun 1833 (the day that he made out his will)[6] and 25 Jun 1833 (the day that bond was set for his estate)[8].
