Enoch, son of Jedediah and Bethia (Whiton) Lincoln, was born at Hingham, MA on January 22, 1720/21. He married first Rachel Fearing, daughter of Nathaniel and Sarah (Johnson) Fearing. Enoch and Rachel resided in Hingham where they raised their eleven children. He was a glazier by trade and held the positions of Selectman and Representative multiple years.

He married second the widow of Nehemiah Ripley, Lydia (Hobart) Ripley. They married on May 6, 1784. There was no issue. She died on December 26, 1803 at the age of 70. He died on June 12, 1802 at the age of 81. He is buried at Hingham Cemetery.
