In his will dated 17 Oct 1757, he left his son Nathaniel £15, his cedar swamp in Taunton, and half interest in Andrews Grist Mill. On 23 May 1760 he modified the will to only give him £10, and then on 6 Mar 1761, he changed the will again so that everything given to his son Nathaniel would now be given to his brother Ichabod. Less than a week after he died, his son Nathaniel formally objected to the will.
