Biography

Temperance was born 5 September 1740 at Windham, Connecticut, the daughter of Thomas Lincoln and Prudence Lanphere.^[1]

She married Samuel Abbey 8 July 1766 at Mansfield, Connecticut.^[2] They were the parents of eight children: Shadrach, Anne, Lemuel, Lucy, Mary, Amelia, Azubah and Ebenezer.

It's uncertain when Temperance died, though most family trees indicate that she died in Salem, Massachusetts.
