From Charlestown Courier 6/16/1960, page 11, Social Items: "Mr. and Mrs. Chas Spitznagle and daughter, Miss Connie Spitznagle and Russell Scholl visited with Charles Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lincoln of Milltown, Indiana. Nelson Lincoln was home from the Air Force and Miss Darlene Lincoln, from Washington, D. C."

MILLTOWN—Jesse Lincoln, 58, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at his home, Depauw Rt. 1.

Survivors include his wife, the former Doris Nale; four sons, Nelson and Stanley Lincoln, both of Milltown, Robert Lincoln, of Marengo, and Ralph Lincoln, stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Briscoe, of Salem; his father, Ed Lincoln, of Depauw Rt. 1; two brothers, three sisters and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Milltown Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial, church cemetery. The body is at Newkirk Funeral Home here.
