In Memoriam: Roger Lincoln Jr. was an active and generous member of WikiTree. Their presence in our community will be missed. There are 2 types of members, guests & volunteer genealogists. Neither is required to create profiles for their family. A guest cannot create or edit profiles, but you can send messages to someone and post in our G2G forum. There are a couple of ways to go about what you want to do. One is post a message in the forum stating that you have been working on the xyz family and looking to collaborate with others researching the same family. Another is to search the existing profiles and if you find someone you have information on contact the profile manager. For example, "I see you a profile for person x, I have the following information on his parents, this is the source for that information." If you contact the profile manager, they will get an email.
