Abraham was born about 1843, probably in Iowa or Wisconsin.
Name
Since clans are patrilineal and his son bore a Thunderbird Clan name, we know that he was a member of that clan. However, we do not know what clan name he had, since the 1898 census presents us with Na-hi-ho-nuk-kaw, which is for Nąxīxų́nųga, which means, "Fifth Son".
Marriage
His wife, Neshushutchkawinkaw, was 11 years older than he. They raised a boy named "John Amell" (b. 1867), perhaps the son of his wife from a previous marriage. (1887 census) Abraham had an affair with Sallie English, which led to the birth of his son Abraham Lincoln Jr. in 1885. By 1887, he and his wife were raising the boy as their own. (censuses)
Death
The 1909 census seems to have been the last one in which he occurs, so he may have died around 1910.
