Research Notes

There is birth of Anne Mary ROBINSON registered in 1878 at Hamley Bridge (SA BDM 197/120). The father's name was John ROBINSON. By location, names and year, it seems likely that John is the brother of the second wife, Mary Anne.

Lindtener-2 and Lindner-706 appear to represent the same person because: Lindtener is a misspelling of Lindner. This surname only appear once in the South Australian records of Births, Deaths and Marriages for the Marriage of Lindner-706 and Mary Anne Robins. Most of the biographic details are the same.

Lindner-706 and Lindtener-1 appear to represent the same person because: These two are obviously the same person. Lindner-706 has the correct birth names, whereas Lindtener-1 is taken from the marriage record.

Thanks very much Fran. I had missed this marriage. I looked for LINDNER, but the marriage was registered under the surname LINDTENER. Miss-spelling German surnames was very common in the Nineteenth century.
