Biography

Margaret (Lindsay) de Lindsay is a member of Clan Lindsay.

Margaret was the daughter of Walter Lindsay and Christiana Hose.[1]

She married her cousin, David Lindsay, High Chamberlain of Scotland in 1256.[1][2] They had issue:

  1. Sir Alexander[2]
  2. Sir William of Symington. Two wives: Alicia; and Margaret Comyn, Countess of Buchan. (His lands were later claimed by the great grandson of his brother Alexander, James.[2]
  3. Sir Duncan[2]
