James Lindsay was born on 5 Aug 1870 in Skirling, Peeblesshire, (Hamilton) Scotland. His parents were John Lindsay and Catherine Young. [1]
He arrived in America in either 1903 [2] or 1904.[3] He was 32 or 33 years old and married to Madeline Blair, also from Scotland. [4] The family settled in Franklin, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.
James passed away at the age of 75 on 22 Sep 1945 in Export, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, USA. The cause of death was apoplexy due to hypertension. [10]
