Biography
Burke's "Irish Landed Gentry" states that Robert Weir (b. ca.1541) married 'a sister of SIR DAVID LINDSAY,' and that they had issue, including ALEXANDER WEIR.
It is not clear if she is the sister of David Sr. or David Jr., but the dates for a sister work out for Sir David, Sr. (b.1527).
