Biography
Arthur Henry Lindsay, son of Charles Lindsay and Fannie Luiella "Lula" (Butler) Lindsay, was born on 23 May 1902 probably in Missouri.[1] His mother died in 1904 and he and his sister appeared on the census of 1 March 1905 in the home of their aunt Fannie (Butler) Davis and uncle at Athelstane Township, Clay County, Kansas.[2] He and his sister appeared on the census of 29 April 1910 in the home of their aunt and uncle at Athelstane Township, Clay County, Kansas.[3]
He married Ethel Sparks, daughter of Louis S. and Lillian S. (Monroe) Sparks, about 1928.
He was and automobile mechanic when he and Ethel appeared on the census of 9 April 1930 in the home of her father at Broadwater, Morrill County, Nebraska.[4]
Arthur died on 13 Aug. 1989[1] probably in Nebraska and was buried at West Lawn Cemetery, Gering, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. His memorial has a photo of his headstone shared with Ethel.[5]
