Biography
George Lindsay is a member of Clan Lindsay.
George was born about 1450 third son to John Lindsay first of the Byres.
As brother and heir-apparent of John, third Lord, George executed a disclaimer as to his being a party to an appeal made by William his brother, regarding of the infeftment granted by John, Bishop of St. Andrews, in favour of their brother Patrick Lindsay of the lordship of Ochterotherstruther, on the resignation by the said John, third Lord. George declared his assent to this disclaimer on 26 October 1498.
George married a daughter of Inglis of Tarvit, and had a daughter:
1. Marjory, who married Andrew Stewart of Beith.
