Lynn G Lindsay and Beatrice O'Neill Lindsay were her parents.[1]
Joan L. Thayer of Crosslake, MN "Graduated" Sept. 1, 2014 at her cabin surrounded by her adoring family. Joan was greatly admired for her energy, enthusiasm, compassion and wit. Always inclusive, she never met a stranger. Through her involvement with the Crosslake Historical Society, the Hazelden Foundation, and the Children's Hospital of St. Paul, she was always helping others. Her love of American History and antiques started in 1965 when she opened her first antique shop on Grand Ave. and included a successful Estate Sale business.
A Memorial Celebration is planned for the spring of 2015.
Joan is greeted in heaven by her husband, John, and son, Bobby. Joan will be missed greatly by her daughters, Lynne and Nancy, and six grandchildren.
