In 1880 census in Taylor, Orange, Virginia with his wife, Lucy J. He is 55. Born about 1825. Born in Virginia and a farmer. One son, Buanes, age 16.
His wife applied for widow pension in 1905. Stated he was in the Fourth Virginia Cavalry. Stewart Division. Goodnight division . Captain of ? Morgan Strother. States he died Jan. 20, 1893.
