She had five or six children with Harold Lillie and an unknown number of children with her second and third husbands. She died on 20 Jun 1997 in Muskegon, Michigan.[3]
Mrs. Sadie M. Jewell, age 84, died Friday evening June 20, 1997. She was born on July 15, 1912 in Beulah, MI and had been a resident of Muskegon for most of her life. Mrs. Jewell was a former member of the Eagles. The former Sadie Link, she married LeRoy Jewell on November 6, 1946 in Petoskey, MI. Survivors include 3 sons, Michael Jewell, Richard "Paul Shumaker" Jewell, Donald Jewell all of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Anna DeWitt of GA, Sharon Holy of Whitehall; 3 grandsons; 4 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Glen (& Goldie) Link of Denver, CO; 2 sisters, Margaret Fox of Clearwater, FL, Pauline Summers of St. Petersburg, FL; and a sister-in-law, Bea Lavender of Honor, MI.[3]
