He remarried to Maria Catharina Göttmann (Gettmann) on 8 Jan 1851 in Walter. They had one child together who died.[3] She passed away between Dec 1851 to Apr 1852.
He remarried to Maria Catharina Rothe of Frank on 1 Apr 1852.[4]
Possible father is Heinrich Link (listed as Lick in census) born about 1808 in Walter to Johannes Link born about 1770. Walter 1834 census lists Johannes and son moved to Kolb. See HH #230 page 60 in 1834 census and HH119 Johannes Link in 1798 Walter census. See note below from Natalie Vil.

Hi Korie, I already checked with Maggie. This family never made it to Kolb. On wolgadeutsche forum one of the descendants stated that they ended up in Bettinger instead. I have no way of checking that info and have not gotten a reply from the person who made that post yet.

I wonder if he could be the son of Heinrich Link born c. 1808 who moved to Kolb with his father Johannes, HS 230 in 1834 Walter census. There are also Link females in 1850 Walter census - Barbara born c. 1821 and Elisabeth born c. 1826. Both of them should technically be in the 1834 census, but neither one is. I wonder if Heinrich born c. 1808 moved back to Walter from Kolb at some point. That's the only explanation that makes sense to me for now.
