Biography

Volga German
Katherine (Link) Alles is a Volga German.
Katherine (Link) Alles has German Roots.

Katherine Link was born in 1880 in Walter, Volga Russia to Jacob Link and Catharina Elisabeth Walter.

She married Jakob Alles in Walter before 1901. They had two children in Russia. The family came to America in 1907 to Sebewaing, Michigan, to Jakob's Uncle Georg Alles who paid for the tickets. A census record cannot be located, so they must have returned to Russia prior to the 1910 census. They had a son in Michigan.

Jacob and his family returned to Russia and had another child prior to coming to America a second time in 1912. His passenger index card indicates he was in the U.S. from 1908 to 1910 with his Uncle Georg Alles in Sebewaing, Michigan.[1]

She passed away in 1967.
