Biography
Johann Philipps Linn has roots in the region now known as Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
Johann Philipps, son of Hanß Phillip Linn and Anna Eva Baumann, was born 25 June 1687 in Alsenz, Donnersbergkreis, Rheinland-Pfalz, Heiliges Römisches Reich (now in Alsenz, Germany).Alsenz, Donnersbergkreis, Rheinland-Pfalz, Heiliges Römisches Reich[1] (now in Alsenz, Germany). His parents had him baptized 2 July 1687 in the Evangelische (Lutheran) church at Alsenz.[2]
In 1711, he married Anna Salome Winold[3] with whom he raised a family.
Johann Philipps died in Alsenz and was buried there 4 July 1751.[4]
