Biography
When Mary Jane Linville was born on January 26, 1833, in Bracken, Kentucky, her father, Jacob, was 23, and her mother, Sarah, was 21. She married John Engard Roberts on August 6, 1856, in Pike, Illinois. They had at least one child during their marriage. She died on April 6, 1912, in Aumsville, Oregon, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried there.
