Biography

Freedom Lippincott was born about 1714 to Samuel Lippincott and Hope Wills. ^[1]

Marriage and children

Freedom married Hannah Rakestraw in 1739 at the Evesham Meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey.^[1]At the time, Evesham Meeting was under care of the Haddonfield Meeting.

The Evesham Meeting House is now located in Mount Laurel due to subsequent border changes in the townships.

Freedom and Hannah had the following children:

1. Abel Lippincott b. cir 1740^[1]
2. Samuel Lippincott b. cir 1741^[1]
3. Hope Lippincott, b. cir 1742^[1]
4. Molly Lippincott b. cir. 1743^[1]

Death

Freedom Lippincott passed away on 4 June 1743.^[1]

Freedom's widow, Hannah Lippincott went onto marry Jacob Shinn in December 1745/46 according to Burlington and Haddonfield Monthly Meeting Records.^[2]
