She married William Olmstead in 1911 and they had two children, Edith and William.

Edith was born in New York City to Chris and Louisa Lippoth. She married William J. Olmstead on 8 November, 1911. William died on 16 January, 1953. Edith moved to Dutchess County in 1953. She was a member of St. Columba Church.
She was survived by a daughter, Edith Brann of Hopewell Junction, and a son William L. Olmstead. She was further survived by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. [4]
