The will of Nicholas Litchfield of Scituate, yeoman was dated 29 April 1777 and proved on 20 March 1780 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife (he did not mention her name), and his children, Lothrop Litchfield (executor), Amos Litchfield (executor), John Litchfield, James Litchfield, Sarah Litchfield, Elizabeth Litchfield, Rachel Litchfield, and the children of his son Nicholas Litchfield.
His inventory was taken on 20 March 1780 in Scituate.[3]
