Olive was born about 1811. She was the daughter of John Lytle and Sarah Smith. She was married to Elias Patten and they had two daughters. She passed away in 1872.
Her death notice in the Democrat and Chronicle:
Mrs. Olive S. Patten died yesterday at the residence of her son-in-law, School Commissioner Moser. Her age was sixty-two years. She leaves a husband and two daughters, the elder, Mrs. W. F. Goodwin [1] of Concord, Mich., and the younger Mrs. A. M. Moser [2].
